Why is workplace wellbeing important?

We all know that work can be stressful. Looming deadlines, conflicting demands, and too much screen time can all take a toll on your employee’s happiness, both within and outside the workplace.

As an employer, you have a duty of care to your team

Under UK Health and Safety laws, you have a duty of care to your employees. It’s important that you provide your team with opportunities and resources to reduce their stress levels and improve their sense of wellbeing.

The good news is that there are lots of ways to improve workplace wellbeing. From providing free counselling sessions and self-care stipends to in-house mental health support and team workshops

There’s no excuse not to embrace wellbeing as a crucial part of your workplace culture. Not only will you notice a difference in your employees’ morale, but you’re likely to see improved productivity, better staff retention, and positive staff feedback.

Our wellbeing services

At Workhappy, we’re proud to offer a range of wellbeing services. Each one is delivered by qualified experts with years of experience helping people to achieve a sense of calm, balance, and happiness. Take a look at some of the workshops we have on offer.

Workplace Mindfulness Workshops

Specially designed to reduce stress in the workplace, our workplace mindfulness workshops are run by expert staff members and have an excellent track record for boosting mental health. Each session will be tailored to you and your team to get the best results.

Our mindfulness practitioners will give your employees the tools they need to implement mindfulness in their daily lives. They’ll leave the session calmer, more in tune with their emotions, and ready to tackle work in a stress-free way.

Mindfulness can help your employees:

  • Find calm in high-stress situations or emotionally-challenging scenarios.

  • Stay focused if they struggle with procrastination or distractions.

  • Communicate more clearly with their teammates.

  • Develop their sense of self-awareness and their awareness of others.

  • Feel more resilient to obstacles in their daily lives.

  • Improve their emotional intelligence.

  • Increase their engagement with work and sense of satisfaction.

Companies and organisations, from Google to the NHS, are seeing the benefits of mindfulness sessions. Why not see if they can help your team, too?

Whether you’re hoping to book a one-off session or arrange a long-term program with us, contact us today. We’d be happy to chat about your team’s needs.

Desk Massage Days

Our desk massage days are the perfect way to bring a dose of relaxation and wellness into the office.

Massages are well-known for their wellbeing benefits out of the office, so why not try them in the workplace? Helping to reduce stress and relieve aches and pains, massages are a simple and practical way to, quite literally, release some of that workplace tension.

How do workplace massages work?

Simply choose a time that’s convenient for your team, and our mobile massage therapists will travel to you. Your employees won’t have to take any time off work, leave the building, or even leave their desks if they don’t want to. Our therapists will work their way around the office, giving stress-relieving massages as they go.

They’ll focus on relieving tension in the neck and shoulders, helping with common issues for office, hot desk, and DSE workers, like tightness and soreness. It’s the perfect way to get the week off to a relaxed start, give your staff a mid-week boost, or unwind on Friday afternoons.

We only work with the best massage therapists around the country. They’ll be more than happy to share their advice and talk you through their massage techniques.
